Doléonat® naturaly and exclusively veterinary

Doléonat is the result of a long history of collaboration between a pioneering French laboratory in the preparation of total plant extracts for multiple leading veterinary, pharmaceutical and cosmetic laboratories and the meeting between this laboratory and a passionately veterinary co-founder of Doleonat. 

1982 birth of the mlaboratory and firts collaborations with majors vet laboratories in search of plant basis active ingredients.

Based in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Natural Park, active in animal health since 1982, our laboratory is innovative and as part of a pharmacological approach offers medicinal alternatives designed especially for our pets.

1986 a leading veterinary laboratory buys the laboratory and absorbs is activity of extraction, purification and preparation of specialities based on plant active ingredients

The transferors continue their activity in the medical, paramedical and pharmaceutical sectors. They contribute to the creation of formulas for veterinary laboratories. They in turn absorb the "plant" branch of a veterinary laboratory and above all retain the galenicians and formulators. the newly formed laboratory then moved into the premises that we still occupy in Vals les Bains in Ardèche.

Their activities allow significant advances in SOD (superoxide dismutases extracted from melon) and peroxygenated oils (from corn oil and hemp oil) which will be successfully studied and validated in CHU and have still made it possible today today to provide APIs to leading pharmaceutical laboratories and to distribute a leading specialty in hospitals for the prevention of pressure sores and dermatological complications linked to endogenous irrigation problems or due to pressure points.

2016 the laboratory was taken over by a veterinarian who continued the existing activities, increased R&D and developed veterinary products : a return to the source for our laboratory.

Concerning the veterinary sector, the laboratory has focused, since 2018, its research and development on the main active molecules derived from hemp (Cannabis Sativa), but also on the valorization of molecules of plant origin and plant active ingredients with proven properties.

The awareness of the interest of these molecules by the veterinary advisors of Rubican Biotech and the fellow co-founder, Philippe Journet, dates from 2011. From 2017, after a world tour of cannabinoids Becann (founding company of DOLEONAT) focused on applications intended for humans. This allowed us to objectivize the benefit of the use of our products, particularly on a cohort of high-level athletes. The products we have created have enabled these high-level professional athletes to significantly improve their post-traumatic stress recovery performance. This period was the necessary time for the development of technologies and manufacturing processes to address pharmacokinetic issues.

In 2019 we anticipate the arrival of the COVID epidemic by launching high quality gel and hydroalcoholic solution validated by the Pasteur Institute.

2022 WORLD AWARD

In the dermo-cosmetic sector, the laboratory won a World Award in 2022 and an international award in early 2023 for the creation of a high-end dermo-cosmetic range.                               In May 2023 we bought the DOLEONAT brand and continued its development.

2023 : arrival  of new products

We will launch innovations around cannabinoids and other plant active ingredients via the transcutaneous and ocular routes and extend our range to the equine market.

By the end of September 2023, we have put on the market two dermatological treatments complementary to the standard treatments for keratoseborrheic conditions (EKS): chronic skin damage, characterized by the excessive production of scales and alterations in surface lipids (of sebaceous, sweaty and epidermal).
